Tissue Landscape & Tissue Cube Studies

The project began with quick studies of skin at the cellular and tissue levels. From there, tissue cube studies of the melanoma disease progression were created.

Rough & Comprehensive Sketches

Once a rough layout was chosen, it was later refined into a black and white comprehensive sketch. At this point, the accuracy of the piece was assessed by pathologist Dr. John Wong, and the go-ahead was given for the final fully-rendered and coloured piece.
